At the dam of Schiffenen. Before 1963 it was just the valley of Saane river with several castels beside. Here the romantic castel of Barberêche built 1528.

Normally this is my jogging route. This Sunday morning was just walking with many stops but more to see: A Black woodpecker just a few minutes from my home. Many exotic animals at the farm nearby. A flock of Goldfinches. A fox finally in the abandoned loam-pit in full daylight.

Sunday on the hill of Belpberg. Already enough snow for children to sled. Sketching with a cup of tea to warm up my fingers.
Last Saturday in Wittigkofen at the entrance of Bern, cold but clear view to the mountains.

Rainy and stormy so I was sketching from inside the car.

In October mountains mostly above a sea of cloud but only on weekend time to get out of gray sauce . Painted with watercolour on absorbing thin Chinese paper

End of September till 11 October with my daughter in the western mountains of Sichuan in China, inhabited by Tibetans.
Around Danba over 100 watchtowers. Some are dated to be 800 years old
