Since many days lowland is drowned in cold, grey fog but above 1100 m it is a great sea of clouds. Similar sight in ice age when Aare glacier had the same size. Viewpoint is at Selibühl/Gurnigel at 46.731393°N 7.439366 E.

With first snow it is fun looking for tracks again. Beside many tracks of foxes I also found footprints of 2 badgers: first walking behind each other, then running a bit, digging for worms then separating. When crossing a fence one lost 3 hairs on the barbed wire (taped it in my sketchbook). After 100 meter I lost the track in snow free forest.

Half a kilometer I saw once more the rest of a lynx track in a rest of snow. In the same area I have met it several times in other years.

First snow on the hills near Bern. Here at 900 m altitude and 1 km sw of Kühlewil, 7 km s of Bern it was too chilly for watercoulour so I coloured it at home. Still found some fresh mushrooms.
